The Darlington Xfinity Series race provided a couple dozen interesting laps. I was travelling on Mother’s Day and unable to find a radio station playing the race until MRN announced the winner of the event. MRN worked very hard calling the Talladega Cup race which was boring single-file running for long stretches interspersed with double file riding. It looked like logging laps for more than three-quarters of the event. They stayed single-file until the last minute then made a mad scramble and ended up with Kurt ‘KuBu’ Busch (45) and 23XI teammate Darrell ‘Bubba’ Wallace (23) in the wall.
