The Darlington Xfinity Series race provided a couple dozen interesting laps. I was travelling on Mother’s Day and unable to find a radio station playing the race until MRN announced the winner of the event. 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Race Ten Talladega
MRN worked very hard calling the Talladega Cup race which was boring single-file running for long stretches interspersed with double file riding. It looked like logging laps for more than three-quarters of the event. They stayed single-file until the last minute then made a mad scramble and ended up with Kurt ‘KuBu’ Busch (45) and 23XI teammate Darrell ‘Bubba’ Wallace (23) in the wall. 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Six Circuit of The Americas
38 car will take the green flag to run a scheduled 46 laps at COTA. Cup drivers Darrell ‘Bubba’ Wallace (18), and Cole Custer (07) will compete in the race as well as former IndyCar driver Sage Karam (44). The stages for the event are 14-16-16. 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Race Five Atlanta
It’s a cool and windy 65 degrees at race time under sunny skies in Hampton, Georgia. 37 cars, led by Chase Briscoe and Ryan Blaney, are scheduled to race 325 laps. Due to weather all on-track action was cancelled on Friday. Cup practice was moved to Saturday replacing qualifying. A competition caution is scheduled for 45 of 325.
