They’re already rolling around the track in the trucks. They’re showing sun rays through the clouds at the track. Pretty, but I’m glad I’m not there. I think they may be able to get most of the trucks in – maybe. Hmmm, instead of the race on PRN, they seem to have some other show on since they’re saying the race in Atlanta is next week. Checking MRN. Ahh, MRN has it. Nice.

2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Two Atlanta

It’s a warm, partly cloudy day in the Atlanta metro area today. We’d planned to see if we could find tickets for the race today – until we discovered that the truck race was a night race instead of the afternoon race. The weather folks are predicting rain for this evening and all day tomorrow, through Monday morning. So, Bunny and I decided the chances of our getting to see a good Truck race were not so great and she headed to work and I’m comfortably watching the Junior Cup race on television. Due to wrecks during the Duels several notable drivers will be starting at the back of the field including Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Larson, Aric Almirola, William Byron and Brad Keselowski.

2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race One Daytona

Lots of fluffy white clouds in Daytona today.

Caution lap 11 as Austin Cindric (60) got into the 18 bounced off and collected Ryan Reed (16) and Brandon Jones (19) and Tyler Reddick (9).

Stage 1 concludes with a couple of cup drivers in the top 2 spots followed by Justin Allgaier and Elliott Sadler.

Stage 2 concludes with four cup guys in the top spots followed by Garrett Smithley and Ryan Truex.
