2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Twenty-Five Kansas

At 1615 eastern MRN reports the fans are leaving the stands on lap 93 of 200 as the rain increases and the teams cover the cars under the red flag. I slept through the race itself. Long week.

The race would be official as they have completed the second stage.

Justin Allgaier (7) says he doesn’t know why Ty Gibbs (54) turned left into him on the final corner after the restart.

Ty Gibbs apologizes during his tv interview for going down and hitting Justin Allgaier. he says he did it because he got mad. Gibbs says he thought he hit the wall harder than he did then turned down into Allgaier in retaliation.

Ryan Sieg (39) is in street clothes. He was hoping to make an earlier flight to Atlanta. He says he flies commercial so its a little harder for them to get home.

1635 eastern Noah Gragson wins an abbreviated race due to weather according to nbc sport – they also announced it at 1622 – and at 1615.

1635 eastern MRN also reports the race is official.

Noah wanted to put his buddy ‘Z Man’ in the car but he’s told they won’t let him.

He also wanted to do a burnout and was told they wouldn’t let him do that either.

Now he’s headed to the fence to climb the fence in celebration.

Someone on the NBCSports tv crew, Jeff Burton I think, said it’s the first time Noah won without throwing up. Dale Jr responded how do you know? there’s still time yet.

MRN says its raining hard and it going to rain for a while

Noah has finally, at 1646 eastern, gone inside the the official Victory Lane set up in the garage.

This is Noah’s fifth win of the 2022 season. There is one race remaining in the regular season. Ryan Sieg (39) is now 13 points above the cut-off line. Sheldon Creed (2) is 13 points below the line.

The ARCA race is scheduled for 7pm tonight. MRN is scheduled to cover that race.
