Indy Car driver Justin Wilson is in a coma and in critical condition after sustaining a severe head injury during today’s race in Pocono. The nose cone of Sage Karam’s car hit Wilson in the head in the late stages of the race. Wilson was removed from his car and airlifted to an area hospital. My prayers go out for Justin and the Wilson family.
2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Twenty-Four Bristol
Blue skies in Bristol as television coverage begins. Of course the volume is muted, no need to subject myself to the babble yet. I miss watching pre-race coverage that got me excited about the upcoming race. Steve Byrnes rest in peace. I miss you and I miss Trackside, when it was great, before Petty Kyle.
Congrats to Ryan Blaney on his truck series win. Continue reading “2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Twenty-Four Bristol”

2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Twenty Three Michigan
Kyle Busch won the truck race. Congrats to Alex Tagliani on a great Xfinity series run. It stinks that Regan Smith resorted to the chrome horn to take the checkered flag. It was a very disappointing finish of the race for me. I hope he reaps what he sowed, because that was lowdown.
Rest in peace Buddy Baker. You are missed. Continue reading “2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Twenty Three Michigan”
Rest In Peace Buddy

Buddy Baker is dead. Buddy announced that he’d been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer last month when he resigned from his weekly show on SiriusXM. I miss you Buddy!
