That was a disappointing race. It wasn’t as exciting as last night’s truck series race. The finish was thoroughly disappointing. It didn’t seem particularly competitive as the field seemed to have been told to stay away from the championship contenders. The crowd is booing Ty Gibbs throughout his television interview.

Noah Gragson (9) said he was too tight at the end to chase down the 54 car. He also mentioned losing five spots on pit road.

The Truck series race was competitive, exciting, thrilling, and exciting. I’m not sure how memorable it was in the long run, but it was definitely more memorable than the Xfinity series race. The winner of the Truck series championship was very deserving. The Xfinity series race was boring overall. The level of on-track action improved during the last quarter of the race, but didn’t reach the levels seen last night in the Truck series race. The event seemed to have most of the field hamstrung to allow only the championship four to race each other. The series champ is thoroughly dismal. He has proven himself to be less than championship quality. He seems to represent NASCAR as it is today – if you have the right connections you’re untouchable and will not be held responsible for your actions. You get a pass on everything and the fans are expected to just look the other way and forget every disgusting display of unsportsmanlike, un-champion-like, and generally unacceptable behavior since your grandfather will foot the bill and NASCAR will look the other way.

Jeff Burton of NBCSports said he (Ty Gibbs) is the future of Joe Gibbs Racing and the people that work there they have to want to be there and he recognized he’s gotta respect that and they need to respect him. Burton believes the backlash Ty Gibbs received for wrecking his teammate Brandon Jones (19) and keeping him out of the championship race, as well as comparing himself to Jesus Christ saying that Jesus was hated too, got his attention. Burton believes his quickly mumbled apologies are genuine. His apologies do not sound genuine. They sound rehearsed. He negates most of them with the next line he speaks. He is the future of Joe Gibbs racing. The future is bleak with more of the same claiming Christian and behaving heathen.
