2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Seventeen Atlanta

Congrats to Parker Kligerman (75) winning the Camping World Truck Series race at Mid-Ohio. 38 cars in the field. The stages for today’s event are 40-40-83.

Josh Berry (8) wins stage one.

PRN is losing their minds with the call. I’m definitely not seeing anything nearly as exciting on the television broadcast.

Austin Hill wins stage two.

Lots of single file racing. Passing can occur, but doesn’t until they get close to the end of a stage so far in this event.

Follow the leader for the last 20 laps. Boring.

PRN is virtually begging for someone to do something besides follow-the-leader in the last 20 laps.

Doug Rice of PRN even called it a single file parade around lap 158 of 163.

They take the white flag single file then a couple of cars drop into another lane.

Austin Hill wins.

The last 20 laps were single file until the white flag, then a couple of cars dropped down, but it was too late and there was more defensive driving than offensive driving.

Another boring Atlanta race in spite of the track redo as a result of conservative driving.

The excitement was non-existent. The intensity was mild at best. The competitiveness was mediocre. It was not memorable.

Josh Berry (8), who finished second, said when you jumped down to the bottom you couldn’t stay connected enough to finish a run.
