Congratulations to Kyle Busch 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion. He earned it. Kyle made the best of a really tough year. I have to say I’m totally bummed Jeff Gordon didn’t win the championship. It would’ve been great to see him go out on top. Congrats on finishing third for the 2015 season. The 78 Furniture Row team had the best season ever. After Jeff Gordon, Martin Truex Jr. was my next hope for this year’s championship. Congrats to the 78 team on an awesome season.<\/p>\n

Jimmie Johnson ended up 10th in the standings. I’m really not loving the new Chase format. The quest for number seven will resume next year.<\/p>\n

The race itself was a typically boring Homestead race though KyBu and KHarv fought it out to the end. Once again the champion had to win the race to win the championship and yet that didn’t make the race better, nor increase the excitement for the race at Homestead. If you want to increase the excitement for races I’d suggest improving the race itself.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Kyle Busch Motorsports on the Truck Series Championship. Congrats to Matt Crafton for winning the race at Homestead.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Chris Buescher for winning the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship.<\/p>\n

I’m already looking forward to the 2016 Quest for Seven for the 48 team and hoping for a better NASCAR season overall. NASCAR has, seemingly , been working hard to screw up the good thing they’ve got, but I hope they get the priorities straight, get the rules straight, get the gimmicks under control, and return NASCAR to being NASCAR, not a ‘wanna-be stick-and-ball sport’.<\/p>\n
