The sun is shining in Dover. Congrats to Landon Cassill and his wife Katie on the birth of their first son, Beckham Bear Alan Cassill. The birth topped off a week of good things for Landon. After racing in the NASCAR Xfinity race last Saturday and the NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Sunday, Landon ran 14 miles from the track to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. He also picked up a new sponsor for this week’s race at Dover. Good times for good people.<\/p>\n
It would be nice if Michael Waltrip had enough to keep him busy at MWR to keep him away from a microphone and a national broadcast position. I hope FOX wakes up and stops the madness. Watching him creepily flirting every weekend is yucky. What is up with Danielle hot-to-Trotta’s hair? I typically don’t notice what someone is wearing, or their hair unless its particularly good or bad. Her hair is styled like a 6-year-old. Yesterday she was dressed like she was heading to a nightclub to find a date as soon as possible. Today she’s looks like an overgrown, yelling 6-year-old. Can someone hire a professional broadcasting consultant for her? Please. She desperately needs help, advice, guidance, and a stylist since she seems to have a contract that assures her place on the desk. It’s suddenly thundering here in the the north metro area of Atlanta. The sun was shining here during the pre-race shows. Springtime in the south.<\/p>\n
Mike Joy is a joy with a microphone. Between he and DW I am not forced to listen to the radio broadcast while watching the television. The FOX season is rapidly drawing to a close. NBC will begin its first run. I’m not happily anticipating it. What I’ve seen of NASCAR America has left me feeling quite uneasy about the impending NASCAR broadcasts.<\/p>\n
The race is going and its a typical Dover race so far.<\/p>\n
So the race has been motoring along and I decided I would really watch when it got about 20 to go. Action picked up with 25 to go as Brian Scott and Kyle Busch got together and went to the wall. After the restart for that Clint Bowyer ran over Denny Hamlin and sent him into the wall. Denny caught a piece of Kurt Busch as he spun back up the track. Kurt hit the wall pretty heavily.<\/p>\n
With 2 to go caution is out due to Biffle running over Casey Mears who was slowing at the top of the track and went spinning in front of AJ Allmendinger.<\/p>\n
Jimmie Wins!!! This is his 10th win at Dover.<\/p>\n
Kasey finishes 4th and Truex finishes 6th. Jeff Gordon finishes 10th.<\/p>\n
