Yep! Spring Charlotte Monday. Yesterday it started raining at the track right about 6 p.m. and everybody said it would be a quick shower and then we’d get on with the race. Well two and a half hours later when it stopped raining and they’d been trying to get some of the deluge off the track NASCAR finally said it would take another two hours to get all the water off the track, so they wouldn’t get started until 10:30 p.m. and the race is going to take four to six hours, so it wouldn’t be over until 3 or 4 in the morning. So instead they rescheduled it for noon today! Now, Daddy is supposed to get out of the hospital today if he tolerates his medicine well. I’m feeling so totally selfish, because I want to stay here and enjoy the race instead of going there. I’m undecided right now. My desire to be a good and loving daughter is running counter to my desire to enjoy myself with this race and since I’ve said I’m going to have more fun and take care of me, I’m not sure what I’m going to do right now.
