Kyle Larson (5) wins stage two. Chase Elliott (9) gets the free pass as the first car a lap down, putting Elliott back on the lead lap. Elliott had a penalty on his pit stop.<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 172 of 267 with Kyle Larson (5), Tyler Reddick (45), ‘Desperate’ Denny Hamlin (11), Chase Briscoe (19), William Byron (24), Ty Gibbs (54), Christopher Bell (20), Alex Bowman (48), Shane ‘SVG’ Van Gisbergen (88), and Brad Keselowski (6) up front.<\/p>\n

Green flag pit stops are underway on lap 214 of 267.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 236 of 267 for a crash involving William Byron (24) and John Hunter ‘JHN’ Nemecheck (42) and Ty Dillon (10). Byron slammed into the back of Ty Dillon. Byron said on the radio he didn’t know he was pitting. The crew said they didn’t know Dillon was pitting either. Dillon was not low on the track if he was pitting. JHN appears to slide down pit road behind the crash.<\/p>\n

PRN is reporting the sun is in the drivers’ eyes at that spot on the track.<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 244 on 267 with Briscoe (19), Logano (22), Keselowski (6), Larson, SVG (88), Bowman (48), Bell (20), Gibbs (54), Reddick (45), and Hamlin (11) leading the field to the green flag on the restart.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 244 of 267 for spins by a couple of cars. The camera shot was so high we couldn’t really see anything. Ty Gibbs (54) spins in front of the field, hits the outside wall and slide down in front of Cody Ware (51). SVG and AJ Allmendinger (16) also went for a spin.<\/p>\n

Ty Dillon (10) said they were pitting. He said his spotter let the 24 spotter know they were coming to pit road. He said he was just trying to hit his marks to get onto pit road and wasn’t looking at his rearview mirror.<\/p>\n

William Byron (24) said he never saw him (Ty Dillon) wave and he had no indication that Dillon was pitting and since it was about twelve laps since he (Byron) had pitted he thought the cycle was over.<\/p>\n

WilliB said, during his radio interview, “it wasn’t difficult to see at all”. He was just going to wrap the bottom as he’d been doing all day.<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 253 of 267 Chase Briscoe (19), Joey Logano (22), Alex Bowman (48), Kyle Larson (5), Brad Keselowski (6), Denny Hamlin (11), Christopher Bell (20), Kyle ‘KyBu’ Busch (8), Tyler Reddick (45), and Chris Buescher (17) up front.<\/p>\n

Hamlin wins 1.533 seconds ahead of Kyle Larson (5).<\/p>\n

That was a mostly mediocre race. The Byron crash was spectacular. I am thoroughly disappointed with the finish, because it ended as I predicted – yesterday after qualifying. There were a couple of surprises during the race, but many things went as I predicted. A predictable race is rarely an exciting race.<\/p>\n

This is Mark Garrow’s final PRN broadcast. He is retiring. He will be missed. Garrow is one of the best on PRN.<\/p>\n

I just read that Rob Albright retired from PRN last month. So what’s up with all the retirements at PRN?<\/p>\n

“It is what it is. Everybody’s gotta go. You better learn to like it soon. It’s gonna be here real quick.” – Chase Elliot’s post-race television comments on next week’s Talladega race.<\/p>\n

This is Hamlin’s 60th win tying him in tenth with Kevin Harvick on the all-time win list. He was teary about it. His father is apparently not doing well and he dedicated the win to him. He also said at the beginning of the season he wanted to reach 60 wins.<\/p>\n
