Stage two ends under caution with Kyle Busch (8) out front<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 125 of 200 with Kyle Busch and Ty Gibbs on the front row followed by William ‘WilliB’ Byron (24).<\/p>\n

WilliB (24) takes the lead on lap 126 of 200.<\/p>\n

Corey LaJoie (7) brings out the caution on lap 135 of 200. The car slid upside-down on the track for quite a while before rolling through the infield then finally onto its wheels. He was rapidly approaching the 10 of Noah Gragson, turned left and the car caught air. Corey walked to the ambulance.<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 140 of 200 with ‘WilliB’ (24) and ‘It’ (6) on the front row. Second place Ty ‘TeamOwnerJoeGibbsGrandson’ Gibbs (54) starts behind WilliB.<\/p>\n

WilliB gets the early lead. Chase Elliott (9) takes the lead from teammate William ‘WilliB’ Byron (24).<\/p>\n

Green flag pit stops underway on lap 150 of 200.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 193 of 200 for Martin ‘MTJ’ Truex Jr (19) visiting the wall.<\/p>\n

Restarting in overtime on lap 199 of 201 with Tyler Reddick (45), William Byron (24), Ty Gibbs (54), Brad Keselowski (6), Kyle Busch (8), Chase Elliott (9), Ryan Blaney (12), ‘Desperate’ Denny Hamlin (11), Alex Bowman (48), and Ross Chastain (1) at the head of the field.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 198 of 201 for a spin by Ross Chastain (1).<\/p>\n

MRN reports William ‘WilliB’ Byron (24) may be close on fuel.<\/p>\n

Teams are being told not to start behind Byron due to fuel.<\/p>\n

Disappointing finish that looked to be due to personal animosity – though maybe it was a fuel issue. ‘It’ lined up behind WilliB who needed a strong push, he gave an initial push, then dropped back into the bumper of KyBu who seemed to check up causing the entire line to check up and resulting in all of them losing contact with WilliB.<\/p>\n

‘It’ said he was pushing, the just didn’t go anywhere.<\/p>\n

‘KyBu’ (8) said he was running .30s while the rest of the field was running .0s and teens. He said he had about a seventh place car and brought it home fourth.<\/p>\n

MRN was really effusive about the race. It was okay. The racing was better on Monday than on Sunday, for the Cup series, but only okay overall. The racing on Saturday, in the Xfinity series race, was much more exciting. The intermittent impending weather, random tire and other issues, resulted in the field racing for most of the event. The coverage by NBCSports indicated the on-track action was pretty boring on Monday since they spent a lot of time showing the view of the track surface out of Harrison Burton’s front windscreen, and the view of Austin Dillon’s sponsor’s website on his car. They missed showing an on-track pass for the top five and a crash by a car racing for the top five, instead showing Bubba Wallace driving, seemingly alone, around the track in 27th position. The crash by the top ten car brought out the caution resulting in an overtime restart. Bubba Wallace driving around mid-field affected nothing particularly relevant to the event. Thoroughly incompetent race broadcasting, again.<\/p>\n
