Kasey Kahne making a move at the end of the race brought a little excitement, but up to that point it was an extraordinarily BORING race.<br \/>\nCongrats to Bradley K.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It was hot in Kentucky with temperatures predicted to be in the low 100s and in the high 90s at race time. (Point of reference, our high temperature in my part of the Atlanta area was 105 today.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/briari.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/cKgc9.St_.158.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-558\" style=\"border: 3px solid black; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" title=\"cKgc9.St.158\" src=\"https:\/\/briari.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/cKgc9.St_.158-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Another boring race weekend. The best I can say about it is there were three races. Some boring race weekends only have two boring races, so hope fades fast.<\/p>\n<p>And the giggle of my evening: freaking Laura Bell Bundy doing the National Anthem. She must have an amazing agent or an astonishing amount of dirt on an incredible number of people.<\/p>\n<p>The story of the week is Roush Fenway Racing announcing that Matt Kenseth will not return next year and Ricky Stenhouse will take his place. So far Matt hasn&#8217;t made an announcement of his future plans, but admits he has a deal for next year. The media says he&#8217;s going to Joe Gibbs Racing. I wonder.
