\"\"<\/a>I read a little while ago that a friend is dead – most likely by his own hand. \u00c2\u00a0I met Chris<\/a> through a friend, his former manager James Mitchell<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0He was a sweet person, but sad. \u00c2\u00a0I would like to say this news surprises me, but it doesn’t. \u00c2\u00a0He was one of the people I hoped would eventually learn to live and learn to love his life. \u00c2\u00a0When pro wrestling was no longer a full-time option I worried about him. \u00c2\u00a0In my experience it is the rare few who can flourish after leaving the business. \u00c2\u00a0Most people who choose a career in and around the ring only thrive while in the business, but they tend to flounder without it. \u00c2\u00a0Chris was one of those people. \u00c2\u00a0Pro\"\"\u00c2\u00a0wrestlers are a breed apart. \u00c2\u00a0 I am grateful that world exists to give these special people a place to shine. \u00c2\u00a0It saddens me that the wrestling world has become so small there was no longer a place for Chris to shine. \u00c2\u00a0 He could have been a superstar in times past – in the days of the territories. \u00c2\u00a0He had the physical gifts and the desire to be at the top. \u00c2\u00a0Sadly he was born too late for the territory system; too late to take his proper place in the business. \u00c2\u00a0 I hope he’s free and his spirit is soaring! \u00c2\u00a0Rest in Peace Chris…Rest in Peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
