John Hunter Nemechek (20) finishes stage one first.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 60 of 200 for Cole Custer (00) getting into the outside wall and going for a ride. He ran over something on the track before blasting the wall. MRN reports that it was a tire carcass. The caution was for debris; the debris that sent Custer into the wall.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 74 of 200 for a spin by Brandon Jones (9).<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 79 of 200 with John Hunter ‘JHN’ Nemechek (20) and Sammy Smith (18) on the front row as second place Justin Allgaier (7) lined up behind JHN.<\/p>\n

MRN reports on lap 85 of 200 that Brennan Poole (6) slaps the outside wall. He attempts to make it to pit road and is able to get off the track without bringing out the caution. The television broadcast was showing a shot of the passenger side post inside a car and the door of the car that was beside it.<\/p>\n

JHN (20) is out front at the end of stage two.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 96 of 200 for spins by Justin Allgaier (7) and Brandon Jones (9) and Sammy Smith hitting the outside wall. Sammy Smith (18) clipped Allgaier’s left rear turning the 7 of Allgaier. Smith checked up in front of Josh Berry (8) who tapped his rear. Smith then clipped Allgaier and proceeded to the wall. Smith’s car is on the hook.<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 103 of 200 with John Hunter Nemechek (20).<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 137 of 200 for a spin by Rajah Caruth (45) with help from Jeremy Clements (51).<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 145 of 200 for another spin by Rajah Caruth (45).<\/p>\n

The television folks are constantly bored and showing idiot shots during this event so we’re constantly not seeing what’s occurring on the track live. Instead we’re seeing people driving, hoods of cars, bumpers of cars, doors of cars, supporting posts of cars, all kinds of things that are not remotely interesting.<\/p>\n

Restarting on lap 150 of 200 with JHN up front.<\/p>\n

Watching the race on television, it appears to be a boring event. I’m listening to something other than MRN, so I don’t have the enhancement of their call. I’m not sure if the race is boring, or if the broadcast coverage is accurate, or if it is not showing the story of what is actually an interesting race.<\/p>\n

On lap 187 of 200 the field is mostly single file and the leader is 5.212 seconds ahead of the second place car. I guess that’s why the television broadcast is mostly showing hoods of cars, track surface, and somebody driving. Nothing to see here. Seems to be a typical Kansas race at this point. Luckily MRN reports 9 laps to go, so this waste of broadcast time should be over soon.<\/p>\n

MRN’s Alex Hayden is so bored he said Anthony Alfredo’s crash seemed like it happened last week. He is counting down the laps.<\/p>\n

John Hunter ‘JHN’ Nemechek (20) finished 7.521 seconds ahead of second place.<\/p>\n

MRN reports they led 154 of 200 laps.<\/p>\n

BORING.<\/p>\n

Congrats to Parker Kligerman (48) on clinching the final spot and getting into the play-offs.<\/p>\n

I switched channels during the post-race interviews to watch the end of the Women’s Final of the US Open Tennis Championship. Congrats to Atlanta’s Coco Gauff on winning her first major at age 19.<\/p>\n
