It’s been raining in Vegas. \u00c2\u00a0So far everywhere the NASCAR boys go, rain seems to follow. \u00c2\u00a0The Nationwide guys have a green track and clouds are looming. \u00c2\u00a0The forecast for tomorrow is for sunny skies. \u00c2\u00a0Well this has been an eventful week. \u00c2\u00a0Bunny came home at the end of last week and left yesterday. \u00c2\u00a0So the week has been filled with taking care of errands – lots of shopping. We also went to Cat and Geri’s to play a great card game called Phase 10. It was a lot of fun. Work has been tough – busy, but long due to late nights. Now the weird thing is that I’ve suddenly developed hives. I suddenly started itching Wednesday night while Bunny was in Augusta. I put it down to drinking two bottles of Powerade during the day. When it happened again the next night I decided it might be stress and exhaustion. When it happened again 9am Friday morning I realized it was hives and most likely due to stress. It was so bad this morning I went to the Piedmont clinic in Brookhaven, only to discover it’s only open Monday through Friday. So, I picked up some more benadryl and gelled and had a capsule. Its tolerable; at best; at this point, but I’m hoping (wishing) for the best. If it’s no better tomorrow a trip to the doctor is in store.<\/p>\n

Kelly Bires brought out a caution. \u00c2\u00a0Looks like his engine blew up. \u00c2\u00a0Michael McDowell just spun out for the second caution of the race with 17 laps completed. \u00c2\u00a0There was a 1.5 hour rain delay. \u00c2\u00a0The sun is shining but the clouds are hanging kinda heavy.<\/p>\n

One of the kewl things I got during our shopping was a package of adapters for memory cards. \u00c2\u00a0Since this laptop has a weird memory card slot, it seems most of them won’t work, but the kit also included a USB reader which worked a charm. \u00c2\u00a0Now I don’t have to depend on my very very slow software transfer. \u00c2\u00a0That’s been just painful, so this will speed things up and I was able to put a couple of mp3s on easily also which I was only able to do once previously. \u00c2\u00a0I might also be time to create some new ringtones. \u00c2\u00a0The kit also included a bigger card . \u00c2\u00a0I’ll have to see if my phone will take the larger card. \u00c2\u00a0I seemed to remember reading that it wouldn’t, but I’m sure I can use it elsewhere.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Well looks like Michael McDowell spun again and Danica ran into him and tore her car up. \u00c2\u00a0Well having seen the replay it was a bit of a problem with Danica not knowing what Michael was doing – or trying to outdrive him or something. \u00c2\u00a0We’re 15 laps from halfway and there are rain showers on the radar heading toward the speedway it appears.<\/p>\n

Caution is out at lap 105 of 200 for rain.<\/p>\n

We’re back on with 90 laps to go. \u00c2\u00a0Michael took complete responsibility for the accident with Danica and went over and apologized and apologized on air. \u00c2\u00a0I’m enjoying Dr. Jerry Punch in the pits. \u00c2\u00a0He is doing a better job than most people in the pits.<\/p>\n

Hives are one thing – but on the bottom of my feet too??? \u00c2\u00a0Yes. \u00c2\u00a0Okay enough with the complaining. \u00c2\u00a0They’re still running. \u00c2\u00a0Caution is out – Brian Scott just spun. \u00c2\u00a0Jason Radcliffe, Kyle Busch’s crew chief said the weather looks good so everybody is coming in for pit stops on this caution. \u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

31 laps to go with another restart after a caution. \u00c2\u00a0Denny Hamlin is leading right now. \u00c2\u00a0Colin Braun spun around on the restart. \u00c2\u00a0Caution is back out. \u00c2\u00a0Steven Wallace tapped him in the back at the end of the turn taking Braun out. \u00c2\u00a0All five rookies have crashed in this race today. \u00c2\u00a020 cars are on the lead lap as the wander around under caution. \u00c2\u00a025 laps to go and we’re on again. \u00c2\u00a0Kyle just kissed the wall and in his opinion, they’re going backwards; they’re done. \u00c2\u00a0No caution, he didn’t stop, but he is drifting backward. \u00c2\u00a0Apparently the temperature has dropped at the track so lots of people are complaining about the cold – spotters in particular. \u00c2\u00a0Kyle thought he’d damaged the nose and then the car wouldn’t turn putting him into the wall. \u00c2\u00a0So now, with 14 laps to go he’s in 12th instead of battling for the lead as he was before hitting the wall. \u00c2\u00a0Happy just took the white flag and is 1.4 seconds ahead of Denny Hamlin. \u00c2\u00a0Happy Harvick Wins!<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0If I remember correctly this is his and Delana’s anniversary, so she gets a present, which she said she wanted something good. \u00c2\u00a0I can’t remember if it was this week or last week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
