MRN reports BJ McLeod (78) is off the pace on lap 52 of 312. McLeod makes it to pit road under green.<\/p>\n

The television broadcast is showing a split-screen of a driver driving and the track surface with a couple cars in the distance. It switches to three cars driving around – no context so I don’t have a clue as to where they are in the scheme of things. The on to a dashboard shot for a while. Then a few cars driving. On to a shot out the side window of a car. The too someone’s hood, the track surface and a bumper. Basically TV is tremendously bored and showing anything, but the actual race.<\/p>\n

William ‘WilliB’ Byron (24) wins stage one.<\/p>\n

Green flag pit stops underway on lap 117 of 312 with ‘Desperate’ (11) on pit road first.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 138 of 312 for debris as Aric ‘Afterburner’ Almirola (10) loses a wheel and visits the outside wall.<\/p>\n

Steve Post of MRN reports the right front wheel broke which caused the tire to come off, sending the car into the wall which broke the right rear toe-link. Then there may have been too many men over the wall. Afterburner is serving a two lap penalty.<\/p>\n

Kyle Larson (5) wins stage two.<\/p>\n

On lap 243 of 312 green flag pit stops are underway.<\/p>\n

This has been a waste of time so far. They’ve simply driven around the track. Nothing exciting shown on television.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 302 of 312 for a spin by Harrison Burton (21).<\/p>\n

Pit strategy in play as first six change two tires (right sides) and leader Kevin ‘Happy\/KHarv’ Harvick (4) takes four new tires. Teammates Kyle Larson (5) and William ‘WilliB’ Byron (24)
\n<\/p>\n

Larson (5) and WilliB (24) will restart on the front row with three laps to go.<\/p>\n

AJ ALLmendinger (16) brings out the caution with a spin on lap 310 of 312 sending the race into overtime.
\n<\/p>\n

WilliB (24) wins.<\/p>\n

Congrats to Josh Berry (9) substituting for Chase Elliott on a tenth place finish.<\/p>\n

That was a dreadful excuse for a race. Only the restart with three to go was worth watching. The overtime restart was basically a snoozer like the rest of the event. Overall the ‘race’ was a parade with an occasional pass for 310 of 317 laps. The event was not particularly competitive with Byron, Larson, and Harvick leading at least 287 of the 317 laps.<\/p>\n
