The stages will be 25-25-59 laps.<\/p>\n

TV is bored on lap 2 of 109 and showing the track surface with cars in the distance. It’s going to be an unwatchable day. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Mark James is on the PRN broadcast for the event, so it will also be unlistenable at times. It’s strange I generally enjoy Mark’s IndyCar calls on IndyCar radio. For some reason when he does NASCAR he always sounds like he’s going to bust a gasket; it’s always so overblown and he sounds like he’s straining. It’s hard to listen to. Overall he calls the IndyCar race in a reasonable manner getting excited when appropriate. On the NASCAR broadcasts he frequently goes into screaming fits over relatively interesting occurrences. They don’t seem to merit that much attention, nor enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

PRN mentioned the cars “are playing follow-the-leader, as [they] expected”. That’s a sad statement all around.<\/p>\n

Joey Logano (22) wins stage one from the pole.<\/p>\n

Ross Chastain (1) finishes stage two up front as many pit shortly before stage end.<\/p>\n

Stage three begins.<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 103 of 109 for debris. Yesterday in the Xfinity series race PRN was talking about a sign hitting Justin Allgaier’s car. Justin didn’t hit the sign; the sign came onto the track and hit Justin’s car. The debris caution is for a sign on the track.<\/p>\n

PRN reports fourteen cars stayed on track instead of pitting.<\/p>\n

Chase Elliott spins into the grass on lap 106 of 109 after restarting on the front row alongside AJ Allmendinger (16).<\/p>\n

Caution on lap 107 of 109 for debris on the track.<\/p>\n

We will be restarting in overtime.<\/p>\n

The cars are stopped on the track behind the pace car. Red flag is out.<\/p>\n

On entry to turn eleven there is an issue with the racetrack. The curbing\/turtle is loose. The track team is working on repairs.<\/p>\n

Caution flag has been displayed again.<\/p>\n

Restarting in overtime with Kevin ‘KHarv\/Happy’ Harvick (4) and Christopher ‘CBell’ Bell (20) up front.<\/p>\n

CBell (20) easily wins.<\/p>\n

I fell asleep before the final restart. Bunny woke me up shortly after the final run began. That was a nothing event; no excitement; no competition – whomever got up front stayed up front generally; possibly there was some intensity, but it wasn’t really shown on the television broadcast. Pretty much a waste of time. There were some spins which changed the lineup at the front of the field, but didn’t seem to constitute actual racing.<\/p>\n
