A competition caution is scheduled for lap 25 of 188.<\/p>\n
NASCAR wasted little time getting things started once the track drying was completed. I very much enjoy the fly-over and seeing that semi sail around the track at Talladega with the flag flapping in the wind. I hope they’re hurrying to get the full race in, and not just to race to the end of stage two.<\/p>\n
At 1547 Steve Post of MRN reports the rain has started to fall as the cars roll down pit road for a tach check.<\/p>\n
NBCSN is reporting at 1552 eastern NASCAR says they’re going to have to bring the cars down pit road so the jet-dryers can work on the track.<\/p>\n
MRN and NBCSN are reporting the skies are brighter now than they have been the entire day.<\/p>\n
At 1556 eastern NASCAR has postponed the race until tomorrow 1pm eastern time.<\/p>\n
