After travelling to Florida hoping for warmer weather at the beach – it is warmer than Atlanta, but extremely windy and the wind is chilly. That said – I’m at the Beach, Hooray!!! Tuned in to the race once we were in the hotel room. It was 17 laps from the end of the first stage and appeared to be a typical Texas\/typical 2018 race. We went and grabbed a bit to eat. Between traveling and the time change we’re a bit off schedule. Back in the room with 14 laps to go and it’s still looking like a typical 2018\/typical Texas race. It doesn’t appear we’ve missed much. You know its tough trying to find NASCAR on the radio while traveling.<\/p>\n
Bunny hasn’t gotten Sirius\/XM running in her new ride, so we were scanning stations for a while. Eventually we settled on some classic rock and gave up the hunt.<\/p>\n
Caution on lap 331 of 334 for an incident between Joey Gase (51) and Daniel Suarez (19) so we’re going into overtime. The stages were 85-85-164.<\/p>\n
Harvick (4) and Blaney (12) will restart up front with Kyle Larson (42) and Joey Logano (22) behind them.<\/p>\n

Maybe this was a race at some point, but everything I saw looked like a parade behind Kevin Harvick. It’s that – and the lack of beach – that convinced me to not take my birthday trip to the Texas race.<\/p>\n
