Justin ‘Dewy Alligator’ Allgaier seems to have a tire rub on lap 8 of 200. He’s just headed to pit road.<\/p>\n
Jamie McMurray brings out the caution in the 42 on lap 9 of 200 sliding through the grass.<\/p>\n
The Bear Bond blew off Jamie Mc’s car. Apparently it’s too cold for it to stick, so they’ve duck taped the hood down.<\/p>\n

At lap 30 it appears Ryan Blaney is driving a different type car than the rest of the field he’s so far out in front.<\/p>\n
There are an awful lot of Ryans out there it seems, Blaney, Preece, Truex, Sieg, Reed. 10% of the field is named Ryan.<\/p>\n
Blaney wins stage one easily <\/p>\n
Charlotte Motor Speedway has a deal in which all kids get into Cup races for $10 and free for Xfinity and Truck races. Nice. I noticed at some other track – don’t remember which – the kids got in for some amount. I thought the days of kids get in free were over. I’m glad to see they aren’t. I don’t have kids, but believe a sport that touts itself as family-oriented and that seems to talk so much about cost-cutting should do something to cut costs for people with kids so the whole family can attend the races.<\/p>\n
The bevy of Ryans left me curious about other ‘popular’ names. I see multiple Joshs, and Spencers. Two of each.<\/p>\n
Darn Justin Allgaier is headed to the garage for work on his car.<\/p>\n
Restarting on lap 64 of 200.<\/p>\n
Tyler Reddick is bouncing off the wall on lap 66 of 200 and he says the car is really loose. Menace.<\/p>\n
Spencer Gallager in the 23 brought of the caution on lap 71 of 200 racing with that menace Ryan Reed.<\/p>\n
Apparently Spencer Gallagher is raging about Ryan Reed on the radio and already talking about what he’s going to do in Bristol next week.<\/p>\n
Restarting on lap 76 of 200.<\/p>\n
For the first time today someone besides Ryan Blaney is leading the race as Christopher Bell takes the lead from him.<\/p>\n
Justin Allgaier comes back out 24 laps down.<\/p>\n
Chad Finchum hits the wall on lap 79 of 200. Since there’s so much damage on the rear-end the wrecker is having trouble getting the car off the track.<\/p>\n
There are a number of people looking at Tyler Reddick’s tire which seems to have separated on the side-wall. They’re trying to get another set of tires, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.<\/p>\n
The did a tire-drag on the second and third groove with the idea the cars would naturally rubber in the bottom as they run. People who get up into the fourth groove have been the ones who’ve gone around it seems.<\/p>\n
Matt Tifft beat Blaney off pit road. Truex and Reed among others stayed out during this stop so Matt Tifft will be starting 13th.<\/p>\n
They may not restart under green since the laps are ticking down as they continue cleaning on lap 87 of 200.<\/p>\n
Looks like they may restart on lap 88 of 200 and the field is kinda weird.<\/p>\n
Christoper Bell is being penalized for an uncontrolled tire. So CB doesn’t start 2nd.<\/p>\n
Restarting on lap 89 of 200. One lap to the end of the stage.<\/p>\n
Brandon Jones leads the field ot the green and sins stage two. Congrats to JJ Yeley on his sixth place finish in the stage, picking up stage points.<\/p>\n
Restarting on lap 98 of 200. Daniel Hemric leads them to the green flag.<\/p>\n
Brandon Jones brings out the yellow flag on lap 99 of 200 in the 19 car as he bounces off the wall and goes for a spin and collects the 39 of Ryan Sieg and the 24 of Kaz Grala got a piece of that. Alex Labb\u00c3\u00a9 in the 36 also got some of that. Kaz ran over debris and ended up with flat tires.<\/p>\n
So Brandon Jones, menace, is done for the day. Yippee. Menace!<\/p>\n
I’d love to listen to Clint Bowyer, but the super-negative of being saddled with Adam Alexander and Mikey Waltrip means the best I can do is look at him when the camera shows them. Those two are just not tolerable.<\/p>\n
Restarting on lap 105 of 200. Daniel Hemric will lead them to the green flag.<\/p>\n
The PRN guys are saying the winds are still high. He said he didn’t believe it had gotten below 20 or 30 mph, though an earlier graphic said it was 13 mph. Shrug.<\/p>\n
So that menace Tyler Reddick is menacing Daniel Hemric and Matt Tifft is being menaced by Cole Custer. What a mess.<\/p>\n
Ty Dillon got into that mess and prudently dropped back from that nightmare-in-the-making.<\/p>\n
Justin Allgaier is out of the race. He said it was cold weather related. This is a Dash4Cash qualifier so Dewy won’t have a chance to grab the cash next week.<\/p>\n
On lap 128 of 200 Ryan Blaney is dogging the heels of Daniel Hemric.<\/p>\n

Earlier they were talking about Jimmie Johnson qualifying 9th and winning practice today and what that means. They questioned if it meant anything since they would be racing on a sunny 60 degree day tomorrow versus the cloudy, cold (35 degree), windy day today. They mentioned that Hendrick Motorsports has lost a lot of the top people in the organization to other teams. They said they felt something was going on over there (at HMS) and there was reason to be worried.<\/p>\n
Green flag pit stops are underway on lap 144 of 200.<\/p>\n
Ryan Reed made it difficult for Ryan Blaney to pass him allow Christoper Bell to catch up a little bit to Blaney. He lost the ground he’d gained when it was his turn to try to pass Ryan Reed. Menace.<\/p>\n
The PRN guys are making fun of Ryan Preece’s age – 27 – saying he’s almost over-the-hill. They’re praising him for his performance today, as well as the fact he isn’t a teenager and has actually learned his craft. They also mentioned his Modified championship and second place finishes.<\/p>\n
By the way, sadly this race is called the ‘My Bariatric Solutions 300’. Seriously.<\/p>\n

Ryan Preece finishes fifth. Congrats to him on that.<\/p>\n
Christopher Bell, Daniel Hemric, Cole Custer and Ryan Preece will run for the $100k in the Dash4Cash next week.<\/p>\n
Elliott Sadler finishes 8th. There were only 10 cars on the lead lap at the finish. Blaney isn’t doing a burn out.<\/p>\n
The 22 team has run the last three races with different drivers in the car. Austin Cindric will be in the car next week and could make it four in a row.<\/p>\n
Christoper Bell is going to run a winged Sprint car this evening. He said they had a second place car and they have to figure out how to get more speed to compete with the 22 car which is fast no matter who’s driving it.<\/p>\n
