The PRN guys keep talking about what a good crowd they have. They said it repeatedly last night and a few times tonight. I’m looking at the empty seats and wondering how bad were the crowds over the past few years if these constitute a good crowd.<\/p>\n
Last night’s race – well its rather an exaggeration to call it a race. Last night’s speed display by Kyle ‘KyBu’ Busch was really boring. Occasionally someone would lose a tire. For a very, very, very short period we say Justin ‘Dewy Alligator’ Allgaier lead the race and have a couple of good battles. Those were the best moments of the race. KyBu got busted for speeding and relatively quickly drove back through the field to take over the lead and eventually win the race. No one could do anything with him. He led 186 of 300 laps. From what they were saying on the radio the Truck race on Wednesday night was even more of a slaughter. I love KyBu, but watching him lead 38 cars around a track for an hour and 48 minutes was really, really boring.<\/p>\n
Caution on lap 201 of 500 for Ricky ‘Stinkhouse’ Stenhouse riding the outside wall.<\/p>\n
Erik Jones got his first pole. KyBu got his tenth stage win.<\/p>\n
Caution on lap 231 of 500 for a spin by Frankenstein’ Dillon and Jeffrey Earnhardt. Looks like Austin ‘Frankenstein’ Dillon lost the left rear and spun up into Jeffrey Earnhardt and smashed him against the fence.<\/p>\n
Restarting on lap 244 of 500. Kenseth stayed out – along with others including Jimmie – so they will lead the field to the green.<\/p>\n
Kenseth wins stage 2. Jimmie and KHarv follow Kenseth across the line.<\/p>\n
Caution is out for Ty Dillon into the wall on lap 354 of 500.<\/p>\n
Caution on lap 396 of 500 for a spin by Chase Elliott after some contact with Kevin ‘Happy’ Harvick.<\/p>\n
Caution on lap 416 of 300 for Lnadon Cassill who got into the inside and outside walls.<\/p>\n

KyBu wins in 2 hours and 46 minutes.<\/p>\n
Boring race overall. I wanted KyBu to finish it up quickly – just to get it over. Occasional moments of interest during the race, but overall it was a race among the top four cars on any restart.<\/p>\n
