Noah Gragson, Ryan Truex, J.J. Yeley, and many others were caught up in that wreck.

Contact between the front row trucks of Christopher Bell and Brett Moffitt on lap 19 ends the stage with Johnny Sauter the winner of stage one.

Johnny Sauter leads the field to green for a 20 lap stage two.

On lap 18 of 20 John Hunter Nemechek spins out without collecting anyone and keeps the truck mostly below the double yellow before heading into the pits for new tires.

Johnny Sauter wins stage two.

I miss the lap-by-lap on nascar.com. Last season they had a running commentary on the race with flags displaying cautions and the such. It seems as though that great feature is gone. It allowed me to keep up with the race during commercial breaks as well as know the details of on-track occurrences in spite of the talking heads on the tv broadcast blathering on about nothing. It was timely, detailed and responsive. I miss it.

Timothy Peters will lead the field to the green for the final stage of the race. Restarting on lap 46 of 100.

So far the racing hasn’t been more exciting than last season and the final stage feels too long – probably because I’m a bit bored by the race.

Caution is out with 29 laps to go as Christopher Bell loses it on the front row damaging a couple more cars in the process.

I just have to say a long work day at the end of a long work week makes this race – at least this stage of it – feel long. The caution periods after an incident or at the end of a stage feel too long. I find myself anxious for them to get back to racing.

Looks like we’re restarting with 23 to go as Johnny Sauter leads the field to the green flag.

Wreck on the final lap as the turns into the wall and into leader Matt Crafton who went over 360 degrees and partially landed on Johnny Sauter’s truck. Kaz Grala ended up winning the race since most of those in front of him were involved in the wreck. The youngest driver to win the Truck Series pole just became the youngest driver to win a Camping World Truck Series race.

Looks like the 13 (Cody Coughlin) was the source of that wreck when he tapped the 27 (Ben Rhodes) getting him loose and he hit the wall then took out everybody around him including Crafton, Sauter, Timothy Peters.

Congrats to father and son Joe and John Hunter Nemechek on their fifth and fourth place finishes respectively. Congrats to J.J. Yeley on his ninth place finish after getting a piece of that first accident.

Next Race: Atlanta

GO 48!!!!

Kaz Gala leads the field to the green flag after winning his first career pole in the Truck Series.
