Caution on lap 49 of 75 as Jimmie goes sliding and into the wall.<\/p>\n
Dale Jr said they’re going to be practicing that a lot to determine what’s going on with their cars because it looks like a crash he had at Daytona last year, and at Talladega, as well as a crash Chase had last year at Daytona. In both cases today the rear-end whipped around on Jimmie coming out of turn four in seemingly the same way. Dale is looking forward to working on that this week.<\/p>\n
Jimmie said the car wasn’t loose anywhere else and he didn’t expect it to go around on him the second time.<\/p>\n
Again with that stupid fish-eye shot. Seriously, its dumb. Stop it.<\/p>\n
It’s nice to hear Jr in the booth when he can get a word in edgewise.<\/p>\n
Caution is out with 15 to go as Martin Truex Jr went into the wall. Chris Buescher is also headed toward pit road. Truex came down on the front of the 42 turning himself and he clipped the 37 of Chris Buescher as he went by.<\/p>\n
Somebody made a move and suddenly we’re on that stupid fish eye shot and we couldn’t see what happened. That shot shows nothing – its just different, not good, nor helpful. Less helpful that the blimp shot – like the side-window shot, it’s too tight to be visually appealing and provide information and entertainment. Like the segment break that shot breaks the momentum.<\/p>\n
Contact between Hamlin and Keselowski on the last lap takes them out of the lead. Alex Bowman finished third and Danica finished fourth. Chase Elliott finished seventh. Suarez finished eighth and Chris Buescher finished ninth. Not bad newbies.<\/p>\n
Kyle Busch came over and had a chat with Alex Bowman about the fact they could’ve worked together to get to the 22. Alex felt like he was out for what he could get alone since no one had worked with him the whole race.<\/p>\n
