We’ll begin with notes from the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Twenty-Seven at Kentucky:<\/p>\n

Long race.<\/p>\n

I’d given up on the race – not interested in watching Erik Jones stink up the show again – then he and Ty Dillon wrecked each other with 12 to go and I came back into the room to watch the finish.<\/p>\n

\nCongrats to Daniel Suarez, Sam Hornish Jr, Ryan Blaney, and Matt Tifft on their fop five finishes in the inaugural race of the inaugural Xfinity chase.<\/p>\n

On to today’s festivities in Loudon:<\/p>\n

Basically boring race until the last 30 laps or so. The battle between Kenseth and Truex for first was fun. It would’ve been nice to see a lot more of that.<\/p>\n

Kevin Harvick wins <\/p>\n

Congrats to Kasey Kahne on his ninth place finish. Congrats to Jimmie Johnson on his eighth place finish.<\/p>\n

Congrats to Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman on your thirteenth and fourteenth place finishes.<\/p>\n

Congrats to Danica ‘Lil Dude’ Patrick on leads nine laps in the race.<\/p>\n
