2022 NASCAR Pre-Season News Update Five

As USA continues to add to the Olympic gold count, motorsport series are on hold. The Cincinatti Bengals meet the Los Angeles Rams at home in LA for Super Bowl 56 tomorrow. The teams may face record heat. NASCAR teams are putting the finishing touches on driver and sponsorship deals. The son of a NASCAR Hall of Famer dies. NASCAR announces Rookie of the Year candidates. 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Clash LA Coliseum

The Clash is underway. I’ve not bothered to watch much of the pre-race stuff. Tony ‘Smoke’ Stewart is in the booth with Mike Joy and Clint Bowyer for some inexplicable reason. I never enjoyed those two together in the booth. This is a combination I am not happily anticipating. Great to hear Mike Joy’s voice. He’s the best thing going on NASCAR broadcasts.
