2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Fifteen Michigan

Rain is coming and going for NASCAR. Last night’s Camping World Truck Series race at Gateway Motorsports Park was delayed for hours due to rain and track drying. This morning in Michigan the crews came on-air talking about it raining this morning. Again Race Day began with Myers, DW and Mikey, then kicked it to the Kenny Wallace and the sad excuses for broadcasters on the Race Day set. They seriously need to amp up the talent for NASCAR so it looks like FOX is taking NASCAR seriously, not just providing lip service to their contract. Kasey Kahne will lead the field to green today. 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Thirteen Dover

The sun is shining in Dover. Congrats to Landon Cassill and his wife Katie on the birth of their first son, Beckham Bear Alan Cassill. The birth topped off a week of good things for Landon. After racing in the NASCAR Xfinity race last Saturday and the NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Sunday, Landon ran 14 miles from the track to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Twelve Charlotte

Of course, this is the motorsports’ fan’s dream weekend starting with the Monaco GP Formula 1 race, the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. I’m looking forward to great action tomorrow. I didn’t do a blog entry for the All-Star Race though I watched it. It really wasn’t worth talking about. So this week the boys are still in Charlotte for the Coca-Cola 600 – the longest race of the year. I’m hoping it will be a good one. I considered going, but couldn’t quite work out the logistics. Maybe next year.
