2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Fifteen Michigan

Beautiful day in Michigan. The sun is shining bright and the drivers and their families seem to be enjoying the weather. UFC Bantam weight champion Miesha Tate is the Grand Marshall. Good for the Harvick’s management group. They seem to be doing good work for her.

2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Thirteen Michigan

Someone should explain to Mikey that hysteria and excitement are NOT the same. When you sound hysterical you amp up the anxiety in the audience, not the excitement. Instead of selling the race, you leave the audience nervous and reduce the enjoyment of the event. Dale Earnhardt Jr, a winning driver, is in the booth. Why is Michael Waltrip there also? I understand Adam Alexander can’t quite handle things on his own, but Andy Petree is a wonderful on-air personality and a crew chief. 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Thirteen C Charlotte

It’s a great day to be a race fan! Three races in race day! Loving it! Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton for winning the Monaco Grand Prix in the rain. Congratulations to rookie Alex Rossi on his first Indy Car win at the 100th Indianapolis 500.

Congrats to Raymond Park, Rick Hendrick and Benny Parsons on their inclusion in the 2017 Hall of Fame. I’m pleased Richard Childress was added to the Hall of Fame though I feel his addition to the Hall of Fame is premature.
