2017 NASCAR Xfinity Cup Series Race Thirty-Two Phoenix

We spent last weekend at the beach. Erik ‘Da Brat’ Jones won a snoozer in Texas. Uncle Brenny, Brendan Gaughan in the 62, goes for a spin right off the bat bringing out the caution on lap 1 of 200.

Restarting on lap 4 of 200. The stages are 60-60-80 for the race.

2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race Thirty-Three Martinsville

Joey Logano is the pole sitter on a cloudy day in Martinsville as the field takes the green flag. The temperature is in the 40s and its windy. Miserable day to be at the track if you ask me. It’s not that warm here in the Atlanta metro area.

Jimmie has to start at the rear of the field after a spin during qualifying.

2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race Thirty-Two Kansas

Ryan Blaney mentioned it rained last night so they’re starting with a green track. His third place qualifying time was disallowed, so he’s starting dead last today. Jay Hernandez did a fine job of the command. Good energy.

Peace to the family of Jim Watson, the Furniture Row Racing crew member who died yesterday.

Congratulations to Dale and Amy Earnhardt on their pregnancy.
