It’s a beautiful day in the Dover neighborhood with bright blue skies. I’m not sure of the temperature, but it looks lovely. Brian Dawkins is the honorary grand marshal and is getting his jersey retired by the Philadelphia Eagles this evening. He seems to be having a good time and Martin Truex Jr is going to the game with him tonight and is wearing an Eagle’s helmet. This is being called his home track – there are a couple that get this nickname, but it appears this one if the one he considers his home track. NASCAR 2012 Week 27 Chicago Chase Race 1
Sunny and bright in Chicago…Sunny and bright in Atlanta…
Congrats to Ryan Blaney on making history with his 1st NASCAR Truck Series Win last night in Iowa. 18 year old Blaney became the youngest winner in the series.
Wendy Venturini is actually wearing a top that’s her size today on Race Day. Her pregnancy tops eventually became her size and her post-pregnancy tops were usually her size. There were such a difference from the earlier days when her overly tight tops and overly large boobs that appeared to be a boob job were distracting. Her boobs don’t look overly big right now. I wonder what’s going on. I don’t believe she was pregnant during the entire time when her boobs were the focus of almost every interview. Maybe it is just wearing a shirt her size. It really, really looks nice. Good going Wendy V! You’re my favorite female NASCAR reporter! I love that you’re always improving!! Now if you would teach the rest of them how to do it, you might eventually have some competition. Maybe. Eventually. In the distant future. You’re just head and shoulders above the others. Especially those on your network! NASCAR 2012 Week 21 Pocono
After a tremendous rainstorm the track is dry and we are underway in Pocono. JPM (who won the pole) – Juan Pablo Montoya – and Denny Hamlin lead the field to green under partly sunny skies. More rain is off to the west so when this race will end is a big question mark for the field. Of course all of the rubber was washed off the track. There will be a competition caution at lap 20. NASCAR 2012 Week 18 Daytona
Kurt Busch won a mostly boring Nationwide race. The race was quite boring until about 20 laps to go. Then it got a lot more interesting with the front runners wrecking each other while trying to make a switch.
AJ Allmendinger has been suspended from NASCAR for failing a drug test – effective immediately. The 22 Team is scrambling to get Sam Hornish to Daytona to drive the car tonight! To quote the illustrious Keanu Reeves, WHOA! Continue reading “NASCAR 2012 Week 18 Daytona”
NASCAR 2012 Week 17 Kentucky
James Buescher won a chaotic truck race.
Austin Dillon went to victory circle in the Nationwide race.
Overall, a really BORING race. Kasey Kahne making a move at the end of the race brought a little excitement, but up to that point it was an extraordinarily BORING race.
Congrats to Bradley K. Continue reading “NASCAR 2012 Week 17 Kentucky”
