The Way I See It!
After overnight rain, race day is bright and sunny. Denny Hamlin got into Carl Edwards left rear on turn one at the start of the race leading to a tire rub for Carl.
Wreck on lap one – Landon Cassill got loose and hit Martin Truex Jr. Others got into Landon as he spun including AJ Allmendinger.

Well…I just saw the BEST RACE of the season! The Sprint All-Star race had it all!!! Side-by-side racing, 3-wide racing, lead changes, organic cautions, people coming from the back to challenge for the lead, and for me, as a 48 fan, Jimmie Johnson becoming a 3-Time All-Star Race Champion. It was everything I could’ve wanted from a race and was capped off by Mr. Hendrick climbing on the side of the car and getting a ride down the front-stretch by the winner! JIMMIE WINS!!! Â Number 200 for Hendrick Motorsports!!
The race was incredibly boring until about lap 312. Â Lots and lots and lots and lots of green flag laps. Â 1 Caution for someone blowing up around lap 172. Â Then more green flag laps. Â A real snooze-fest!
Suddenly, around lap 312 the drivers seem to wake up and realize the end was nigh and it was time to actually do the job they’re paid to do and RACE!
