2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Five California

Congrats to Kurt Busch on winning the pole for this race. His Stewart-Haas teammate Kevin Harvick shares the front row. Brian Vickers has blood clots so Brett Moffitt is in the 55 for the next three months at least. They’ve signed him up for Rookie of the Year.

Caution is out on lap 22 of 200 for David Ragan going around after Jeff Gordon took the air off him. Jeff was less than pleased with David not allowing a pass this early in the race.

I watched last week’s race in Phoenix, but I don’t really remember it. Harvick won. Second win in a row. Harvick seemed really pleased.

Looks like Trevor Bayne hornished Sam Hornish to run him into the wall and bring out the third caution on lap 98 of 200 – though the spotter says it was totally his fault.

After a rather boring race a green-white-checker finish.

First attempt was a melee mostly caused by Biffle.

‘It’ wins. What a disappointing finish.

Kurt Busch ran a great race, but was passed at the end by Keselowski, after Biffle wrecked and was sitting on the track for a while.

After leading most of the race KHarv finishes 2nd and Kurt Busch finishes 3rd.

Jimmie finishes 9th, and Dale Jr finishes 6th.

…Bunny said she hopes Keselowski pays Biffle promptly.
