So this is the first weekend off of the NASCAR season and it feels like the season hasn’t really started yet – like I’ve been missing it for months. I hardly know what to do with myself.
On the docket this weekend is/are:
1. Taxes – no, they never got done last weekend.
2. Call Mommy – she called during the week, but I was still at work and didn’t leave until after 9pm that day and paid for it with exhaustion the next two days
3. Look for a new job.
4. Laundry – the usual
5. Maybe make some bread.
6. Grocery shopping.
7. Try to find skirts.
During the week I’ve still got to find my receipt for this computer and call to get the AppleCare started. I think I’ve done everything else – I hope so. I’d rather not have a whole lot of need to dos hanging over my head – ruins the day, sometimes.
Oh, I just thought of another one, plan a vacation!
Last week was the Atlanta race and I chose not to go. It was a beautiful day and a fun race, but I think I enjoyed it better at home. There’s another on the list, get tickets for the Labor Day race. Should be hot and fun!
Not much to say tonight – I wrote a poem late last week, and it put me in the mood to do more writing.
An addendum – I optimized my database, because this blog opened really slowly and it took forever to post this entry. After optimizing, it opened faster, so let’s see if it publishes faster – well it will be a save in this case.
