2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rockingham

201304141553572122948-p2It’s a cloudy day in Rockingham.  It is raining here in Atlanta (and in Augusta on Master’s Sunday).  No rain in Rockingham though.  Joey Logano has flown in from Texas for the truck race. While I love Rick Allen and Phil Parsons in the booth, I would like to say a couple of things:

1. Rick Allen STOP YELLING.

2. Phil Parsons STOP YELLING.

And while I’m making requests to the voices of the CWTS on SpeedTV:

3. Michael Waltrip STOP talking.

Kyle Larson wins, beating out Joey Logano who came from one lap down. It wasn’t a particularly exciting race – rather boring for Rockingham, but not horrible.

Ron Hornaday has been called to the hauler for a chat with NASCAR after putting Darrell Wallace Jr. into the wall under caution.  Darrell held him tight by the wall on a previous turn and after Hornaday gave him a bump to show he didn’t like that move, he went on and turned Darrell.  After the race Hornaday said he felt like an idiot for wrecking him.
