2025 NASCAR Cup Series Race Twenty-Seven Darlington

Cars in field: 38
Pole: Denny Hamlin (11)
Outside Pole: Chase Briscoe (19)
Stages: 115-115-137
Weather: Sunny, 80°F, Feels like 79°, Feels like (shade) 78°, Wind NE 8 mph, Wind Gusts 14 mph

Crash on lap 1 of 367 as Josh Berry (21) spins and collects Kyle ‘KyBu’ Busch (8), Tyler ‘TyRed’ Reddick (45), and Alex Bowman (48). Light damage on Reddick, Busch and Bowman’s cars.

I can’t access the leaderboard. There isn’t a link on the landing page and when I get to it it switches to qualifying and doesn’t provide clickable links to view the race leaderboard. I thoroughly detest the updated site.

Josh Berry (21) has taken the car to the garage to work on the damage.

Restarting on lap 7 of 367.

Finally on lap 13 of 367 the page is displaying as expected. I tried refreshing and kept getting 504 errors, Gateway Timeout, so they seem to have been having site issues. Maybe if the site were simpler it might work better. I hate this version of the site.

Now that television is showing that weird view through what appears to be a plastic bubble of the back window post and the wall, I’m back to watching a movie and listening to the radio broadcast.

Reddick says he think the car may be toed-in. The team noticed his roof flap is stuck partially open which they think may contribute to his driving issues.

Green flag pit stops are underway on lap 35 of 367.

More green flag pit stops underway on lap 75 of 367.

Chase Briscoe (19) wins stage one.

Josh Berry (21) is back in the race on lap 142 of 367. He’s 119 laps down.

Caution on lap 151 of 367 for a spin by Carson Hocevar (77).

Caution on lap 203 of 207 for a spin by Cody Ware (51) courtesy of Ryan Preece (60).

Caution for a spin on lap 210 of 367 by Ryan Blaney (12) courtesy of Austin Dillon (3).

Chase Briscoe (19) wins stage two.

Caution on lap 313 of 367. Derek Kraus (44) is stopped on the track and the car is on fire.

Chase Briscoe (19) tagged the wall, according to MRN, on lap 360 of 367. He continues to maintain his lead over Tyler Reddick (45).

White flag.

Chase Briscoe (19) holds off Tyler Reddick (45) for the win.

I don’t think that could have been more boring. I’m glad it’s over.

Congrats to Josh Berry (21) on running the fastest lap of the race at 169.351 mph and winning a bonus point.
