There seem to be a number of Cup drivers in the field, surprisingly, including Chris Buescher (66), Kyle Busch (07), Ross Chastain (44), and Christopher Bell (52) who is subbing for the injured Stewart Friesen.
Ben Rhodes (99) wins stage two.
Layne Riggs (34), Grant Enfinger (9), Timmy Hill (56) spin out in turn one, the race stays green.
Jake Garcia (13) and Connor Zilisch (45) crash in the final turn headed to the green and white checkered flag.
Xfinity series regulars in the field: William Sawalich (1), Connor Zilisch (45), Sammy Smith (7). Is this a case of Cup and Xfin drivers in the field to avoid a very light entry list?
On lap 53 of 72 the Ross Chastain (44) appears to be coasting around the track. He turned into some turnoff and seems to be out of the way. Matt Crafton (88) went for a spin into the entrance to pit road. He gets it restarted and headed in the right direction.
Caution on lap 60 of 72 for debris. Toni Breidinger (5) went up in flames. NRN is reporting that Toni Breidinger’s car was broken into at Watkins Glen and her firesuits and clothing were stolen among other things.
Caution on lap 64 of 72 probably for debris as Tanner Gray (15) is badly torn up with parts and pieces hanging off it. Tanner Gray hit the wall.
Restarting on lap 68 of 72 with Christopher Bell (52), Andres Perez de Lara (77), William Sawalich (1), Corey Heim (11), Tyler Ankrum (18), Connor Mosack (81), Ty Majeski (98), Giovanni Ruggiero (17), Daniel Hemric (19), Jake Garcia (13) up front.
Caution on lap 69 of 72 as Ben Rhodes (99) hits the wall hard. NRN reports the left rear wheel came off the truck sending him into.

Heim takes the lead from Bell in lap 1. CBell has a tire smoking. Conor Mosack goes around. de Lara 77 goes around bringing out the caution. Dawson Sutton (26) also hit the tire barrier.
CBell (52) pits for a new left tire and fuel. According to NRN he radioed in when the caution came out that he was having trouble with the pickups.
Tyler Ankrum (18) pits from second.
Caution for a multi-car crash following a spin by Connor Mosack (81) which collected Grant Enfinger (9).

Ty Majeski (98) pits for a tire rub.
Restarting with Corey Heim (11), Daniel Hemric (19), Gio Ruggiero (17), William Sawalich (1), Connor Zilisch (45), Tyler Ankrum (18), Matt Mills (42), Christopher Bell (52), Sammy Smith (7), Wesley Slimp (62) up front.
White flag.
Corey Heim (11) holds off Daniel Hemric (19) for the win.
Another disappointing finish to a messy race that had the possibility of providing an interesting finish. I tried watching from stage two, but found video of a driver’s feet and hands and the track surface viewed through the windscreen utterly boring and tried IndyCar practice instead. There I found more video through the windscreen so I watched PBS and a movie instead, until about 25 to go in the scheduled distance. When the television broadcast showed the trucks racing, outside the vehicles, I watched; otherwise I watched a movie. NRN called a more exciting race than I saw, though there was some action and a bit of mayhem. Unfortunately the television broadcast is a cacophony of grating voices, presentations, and personalities making it unlistenable and frequently unwatchable.
