Dover. Â Short track. Â For a short-track race, it was pretty good. Â Boring, but then again short track races are boring to me. Â So be it. Â Jimmie won! Â HOORAY!!! Â He was driving the Madagascar 3 car and wearing an afro circus wig which is featured in the movie.
Todd Bodine won a rain shortened race. Â Congrats to The Onion! Â He needed that win. His team, Red Horse Racing, announced the suspension of a team (Daytona Truck Race winner John King) earlier in the week. Â A win for Bodine’s team can only help things.
Joey Logano passed Ryan Truex with four to go to win the Nationwide race. Â Ryan led most of the race and had a dominant performance. Â He was held up by lap traffic and passed by Logano. Good Show Truex!
Kurt Busch got into a beef with Justin Allgaier during the Nationwide race. Â They had words after the race. Â Reporter Bob Pockrass asked him about the incident and Kurt’s response was caught on tape. Â He went mildly postal on Pockrass and NASCAR suspended Kurt for a week and extended his probation to December 31st. Â Kurt’s owner, James Finch, is in a difficult situation. Â Supposedly, they have a handshake agreement that Kurt can’t quit and Finch can’t fire him.
