Cole Custer (00) wins stages one and two.
Sunset is painting incredible colors in the skies. The drivers will spend a a few minutes driving into the setting sun, but not very long. The clouds that were around all day have limited the driver-blinding potential.

Cole Custer (00) hit the outside wall on lap 90 of 150 with the right side of his car bringing out the caution. he keeps going. Looks like he cut down a tire the way he drifted up into the outside wall. Austin Dillon (10) was in the outside lane and had nowhere to go so he got into the back of Custer.
Restarting on lap 94 of 150 with Sheldon Creed (2) and Chandler Smith (16) on the front row.
Tyler ‘TyRed’ Reddick (24) has a big tire rub after Josh Berry (8) ran him up to the wall and TyRed ran out of room to avoid Berry. The race stays green.

Restarting on lap 132 of 150 with Sheldon Creed (2) and Austin Dillon (10) on the front row.
Caution on lap 133 of 150 for a spin by Sammy Smith (18).
Restarting on lap 137 of 150 with Justin Allgiaer (7) and John Hunter ‘JHN’ Nemechek (20) on the front row.
The Xfinity series race has been a relatively typical Fontana race. There’s a battle for the lead on the first half-dozen laps and once someone gets the lead they drive away and can’t be caught until there’s a caution and restart. Not a very interesting race, though it was occasionally competitive once Cole Custer got a lot of damage.
John Hunter ‘JHN’ Nemechek (20) finishes first 0.818 seconds ahead of Sam Mayer (1) and Justin Allgaier (7).
Unofficially Sam Mayer (1) finished second, Justin Allgaier (7) finished third, and Josh Berry (8) finished fifth; not a bad day for JR Motorsports.
