2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race One Daytona

Congrats to David Gilliland on getting the pole.

Congrats to Clay Greenfield – single car guy – who captured third in qualifying.

Caution on lap 5 for lots of smoke from Travis Kvapil.

I wish they would stop sticking me in a car with the helmet cam. The view is too limited and limiting. Awful point of view in almost every situation.

Gilliland wins stage one.

Oh no, the little guy that could, Clay Greenfield seems to have stalled it coming out of the pits.

Johnny Sauter wins stage 2.

Crafton was nose-in in his pit stall. I was curious to see how he’d get out. Unfortunately we were stuck with the stupid helmet cam when he started moving the truck out of the stall – so we didn’t get to see anything helpful.

Caution with 45 laps to go as Jennifer Jo Cobb is helped out of her car

Grant Enfinger apparently had an issue and collected JJ. She hit the inside wall hard then the truck burst into flames.

Cody Coughlin got a piece of that.

Parker Kligerman was involved.

Crafton is sitting on pit lane with the hood up on his truck.

Caution with 36 to go as Parker Kligerman was trying to get down to pit road.

Bo Lemastus hit the wall and Noah Gragson hit the outside wall.

Caution with 38 to go as Myatt Snider and John Hunter Nemecheck go spinning. Stewart Friesen hits the wall. Brett Moffitt is involved.

John Hunter felt a vibration, but didn’t get below the yellow line before the right rear tire let go.

Cody Coughlin and Austin Wayne Self were also involved in this incident.

This race has been so much more enjoyable than the Cup races. These guys are racing and on top of that stuff is happening.

Restarting with 19 to go

Caution with 19 to go as the 7, 20, 38, and 68 spin and bounces off the walls.
Clay Greenfield hit the wall, Corbin Forrester, Brian Dauzat, Crafton were collected.

Red flag

Johnny Sauter wins.
