Michigan has traditionally been one of my favorite races. I was very much looking forward to it after Dover, but since the Pocono race was so boring my enthusiasm has waned considerably. I hope I’m pleasantly surprised. The stages are 30-30-95 for this race.
‘It’ booted the Kyle Busch in the 18 spinning him out on the first lap going into the first turn of the race. Caution on lap 1 of 125. Seriously?!?!?! What a loser! His desperation is appalling. That’s ridiculous. I would ask what’s wrong with him, but everytime he opens his mouth he gives us a view of the pitiful state of his insides and the answers become a bit more clear. Sad, but true.
Restarting on lap five of 125. I can’t see how NASCAR allowed him to keep the lead on that one. It was just ludicrous for him to wreck KyBu like that, but I guess all is fair when that particular toady is involved. I see clouds as the cars roll around. I wonder if weather is predicted. I’ll have to find the broadcast on the radio – just can’t begin to deal with Michael Waltrip and Larry McReynolds.
MRN it is.
Stage 1 is over. ‘It’ was out front when the flag waved.
Restart on lap 38 of 125.
Caution on lap 38 of 125 that includes Brandon Jones, Michael Annett, Harrison Rhodes, JJ Yeley, Ben Kennedy. Brandon got into the wall spinning in front of the field.
Second restart, second caution.
Restarting lap 44 of 125.
J.J. Yeley has headed to the garage as has Michael Annett and Ben Kennedy.
Brandon Brown tapped the wall, but continued. on lap 45 of 125.
Caution for debris on lap 57 of 125.
Suddenly exhausted, so its nap time. It’s been a long week!
Restarting on lap 116 of 125. Hamlin leading.
William Byron pushed ‘It’ then took the lead from him. Nice work kid.
Caution on lap 120 of 125 as Matt Tifft goes around. Daniel Hemric had contact with Tifft’s left rear corner.
Restarting with 2 laps to go.
Hamlin got into William just before the start. Looks like his was pushed from behind. Willaim takes the lead.
William Byron leads at the white flag.
Here comes Denny Hamlin.
Hamlin beats him at the line by about a wheel length. .012 margin of victory.
Great job William Byron.
Congrats to Elliott Sadler on a third place finish.
