In other words, he’s whining, but the performance indicates it isn’t a big deal. He’s fishing for sympathy – as usual when he’s been publicly wrong. The news throughout the week indicates they meetings about Hamlin wrecking Ty Gibbs did not vindicate Hamlin as he seemed to believe would occur based on the radio audio reported during the race.

MRN reports Chase Elliott (9) was having a hard time finding Victory Lane.
I watched the portion of the event worth watching. The finish was great – actual racing with a legitimately contended result. I am thrilled with the winner and more excited for the on-track action during the final laps of the race, especially in the overtime periods. The Timeline feature updated in spurts, so I wasn’t able to follow the event through the feature. I listened to MRN to follow the event, which left me a bit behind on the coverage. The ticker on nascar.com showed the MRN broadcast was a bit more than a lap behind consistently.
Bubba walked over to Hamlin’s car where he was giving interviews and shook his hand and gave him a quick hug. I’m proud of the class he shows with that move.
