Connor Zilisch (88) holds off Sam Mayer (41) to give JR Motorsports their 100th win.

Sam Mayer (41) is gutted during his radio interview.

Congrats to Ryan Sieg (39) on a fifth place finish.

Sam was wiping tears at the start of his television interview. He said that one really hurts. Sam wins a point for the fastest lap of the race on lap 2.

From lap 86 to the end was the only part of the race worth watching. When the cameras were outside the cars the action was exciting. When they switched to shots of the driver driving and a hood of a car the excitement immediately disappeared. I am disappointed that Justin Allgaier was predictably wrecked out of the event by Kyle Larson, but pleased JR Motorsports won their 100th race. I agreed with Jamie McMurray that holding the 21 car of Austin Hill was not enough punishment for Hill intentionally wrecking Aric Almirola. He continues to wreck people who are simply racing him. One of the many things Hill did not learn during his time in the Truck series was anger management and sportsmanship. He wrecked competitors then, and continued to do so throughout his time in the Xfinity series. I hope NASCAR will punish him in a manner that results in an actual change of behavior that ends Hill’s reckless behavior.
