MRN reports Josh Berry (21) is sitting dead on pit road. The television broadcast is in full-screen commercials. Berry was leading the race when he pitted and now has no power. Josh Berry rejoins the field one lap down as the field gets the one to go signal.

The field restarts on lap 78 of 400.

Joey Logano (22) wins stage one.

Apparently Chris Buescher (17) had been spun at some earlier time and was the first car a lap down getting awarded the Free Pass back onto the lead lap.

Alex Bowman (48) leads them to the green flag restarting on lap 92 of 400.

Chase Elliott (9) passes teammate Bowman for the lead.

Caution on lap 121 of 400 for Burt Myers (50) who appears to have lost power according to MRN. Again television is in full-screen commercial break. They return with the push-truck pushing Myers onto pit road.

‘Desperate’ Denny Hamlin (11) wins stage two.

Caution on lap 200 of 400 for Riley Herbst (35) going for a spin.

MRN reports Burt Myers (50) shed debris on lap 268 of 400. Alex Hayden reports it is rubber that flew off. The race remains green.

Green flag pit stops are underway on lap 267 of 400.

Caution on lap 275 of 400 for Shane ‘SVG’ Van Gisbergen (88) losing the right rear wheel and spinning.

Caution on lap 298 of 400 for a spin by Ty Gibbs (54). Zane Smith (38) had nowhere to go and brakes, but slid into Gibbs who was sitting across the track.

Josh Berry (21) and Austin Cindric (2) are experiencing battery/voltage issues. Cindric has made two battery changes according to MRN. Berry has reportedly only made one battery change. Alex Bowman (48) penalized for speeding on pit road. The 21 Wood Brothers’ car has a technical alliance with Team Penske the owner of the 2 car.

Caution on lap 309 of 400 for a spin by Noah Gragson (4) after Chris Buescher (17) hit the curb and the car hopped into Gragson’s car. Buescher’s right front tire is down. Noah waited for Buescher to catch up and swerved toward Buescher’s car and managed to hit Buescher on the front right side. Buescher then returned the favor to Gragson.

Restarting on lap 315 of 400.

Caution on lap 317 of 400 for a spin by Joey Logano (22). Chase Briscoe (14) bounced off the curb into Logano.

Restarting on lap 326 of 400.

MRN reports on lap 379 of 400 Austin Cindric (2) has retired due to the battery issue. They report the 2 team have changed the battery four times. They also report Josh Berry had two battery changes.

On lap 384 of 400 this event has mostly been a waste of time. There have been a few things occurring, but overall it seems they’ve mostly been logging laps for about 370 laps. Nothing much going on overall. It has been so boring I’ve not bothered to watch enough to complain about the stupid front windscreen shots. Like yesterday they had one of those idiotic shots up when an incident actually occurred so the television viewer could only tell something happened, but had no idea what actually occurred until they switched to a replay from outside the cars. I don’t know who gets satisfaction from those shots, but I have to believe it’s someone who would rather be playing video games, riding in bumper-cars, or doing something other than watching a NASCAR race.

Hamlin takes the white flag.

‘Desperate’ Denny Hamlin (11) wins by 4.617. Hamlin also gets the championship point for the fastest lap of 20.118 seconds at lap 195.

That was boring; easily the worst event of the weekend. There was at least some excitement at the end of the Truck series race. There was little to nothing of interest at this event. They drove the track like they were trying to get through it as quickly as possible. I’m simply glad it’s over.

Tyler ‘TyRed’ Reddick (45) has walked over to have a chat with Ty Gibbs (54).

Three’s a fire in the front left wheel-well of the 11 car of Hamlin following his round-the-track burnout. His crew member brought him a banner that said 11 against the world.

In the background of the Darrell ‘Bubba’ Wallace (23) radio interview, the audience seems to be booing as Hamlin talks.

Congrats to Chase Elliott (9) on a fourth place finish. Chase was a bit disappointed with the finish.

The television camera operator seems to be obsessed with Hamlin’s daughters. They keep showing them milling around. It’s kind of creepy.
