PRN reports there is weather in the area.
white flag 4.752 ahead of second position.
Ryan Truex (19) wins his first Xfinity series race 4.82 seconds ahead of the nearest car. He also won his first Xfinity series stages, winning stages one and two.
The Truex family consider this track their home track. Ryan has a six race deal with Joe Gibbs racing. This was Ryan’s 89th series start. He said he hopes to get a full-time ride next year. He said he knew he belonged, the people around him knew he belonged, and the win proved to the people in the garage that he belonged here.
Congratulations to Josh Berry (8) on his second place finish.
Congratulations to Justin Allgaier (7) on his third place finish.
PRN was desperately trying to come up with something of interest to talk about at the end of the race. They started talking about whether the other participants would give Truex trouble on the final laps of the race. They had already mentioned that the other participants have been respectful, giving him room, but not making it easy for him.
Ryan Truex said the weight off his shoulders is unexplainable.
He has one more start in this deal at JGR (Darlington). He said he’s not an emotional guy and he couldn’t talk in the car when he crossed the line, because he was so emotional.
PRN reports Cup Qualifying was washed out today. They also said NASCAR moved up tomorrow’s race due to weather.
There was nothing interesting, other than a cool winner, in this race.
