2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Twenty-Eight Loudon

We’ll begin with notes from the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Twenty-Seven at Kentucky:

Long race.

I’d given up on the race – not interested in watching Erik Jones stink up the show again – then he and Ty Dillon wrecked each other with 12 to go and I came back into the room to watch the finish.

Elliott Sadler wins!
Congrats to Daniel Suarez, Sam Hornish Jr, Ryan Blaney, and Matt Tifft on their fop five finishes in the inaugural race of the inaugural Xfinity chase.

On to today’s festivities in Loudon:

Basically boring race until the last 30 laps or so. The battle between Kenseth and Truex for first was fun. It would’ve been nice to see a lot more of that.

Kevin Harvick wins

Congrats to Kasey Kahne on his ninth place finish. Congrats to Jimmie Johnson on his eighth place finish.

Congrats to Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman on your thirteenth and fourteenth place finishes.

Congrats to Danica ‘Lil Dude’ Patrick on leads nine laps in the race.

Martin Truex Jr led 141 laps. Good going Truex!
