Beautiful weather. Boring race. With 15 to go (lap 75 of 90) it has been a BORING race!
Like last week, its turning into a fuel mileage race. Sigh. While Jeff Burton and Stevie Letarte seem to be extraordinarily excited about what might happen in this race, as a person watching it, I’m just waiting for the final lap to conclude.
It kind of bums me out that Joey Logano has become icky during his association with It & the Captain. I like Joey, but I don’t like some of the icky/wicked/crooked things he’s been doing as a “good team member” at Penske. It hasn’t been as bad recently as it was early in the season, but I find myself having trouble cheering for him at times. I miss the old Joey who did his thing, did his best, and seemingly tried to do the right thing..
