Jimmie Wins!!! Jimmie had a great points day, leading laps, started on pole, won the race. Jimmie has led 35 of the last 40 Chase races. Burton finished second. Jimmie has won 19 of the 62 Chase races that have been run.
The race was okay. They would string out pretty quickly and had lots of long green flag runs. Most of the pit stops were green flag pit stops. Clint Bowyer had a miserable day and finished several laps down.
Jimmie said he was very excited as a result of their performance today. It seemed as though Chadley got a little choked up when talking about the win. There didn’t seem to be any additional issues between Hamlin and Harvick. Denny didn’t quite finish where he hoped – he was one spot below where he wanted to finish, but he kept the points lead.
